A new skills game is helping employers and employees to co-operate on new regulations to do with the work environment, which came into force on 31st March 2016.

At the end of last month, the Swedish Work Environment Authority presented new regulations for the organisational and social work environment. Now Good Decision is launching a new skills game, which helps companies and organisations to turn guidelines into reality.
“Our game and our whole way of working are based on co-operation so we are really pleased that the new regulations emphasise the importance of participation. It’s the best way to achieve good results in all forms of organisational development”.
The skills game enables managers and leaders to work in an active and enjoyable way, together with their co-workers, on work environment issues. The aim is to expose and address potential causes of ill health and accidents. The method supports goals, follow-ups and documentation.
“The game leads in a natural way to concrete action which can be employed by both employers and employees on a day-to-day basis at work”.
The Swedish Work Environment Authority on the new regulations:
“One of the challenges to society is the huge increase in the number of occupational diseases resulting from an excessive workload or victimisation at work. However, we can all help to solve the problem by preventing the onset of ill health at our place of work. Therefore, in consultation with social partners, the Swedish Work Environment Authority has drawn up regulations for the organisational and social work environment (AFS 2015:4). The regulations come into force on 31st March 2016.”
